This Pre-Order Policy explains how pre-orders are handled on Resellers and applies to all buyers and sellers using the platform.

1. Platform Role & Scope

Resellers operates as a commission-based online marketplace and auction platform.

• Resellers does not own, stock, or sell products

• All items are listed by independent sellers

• ResellersZA earns revenue only from platform commission

• This policy applies only where pre-orders are explicitly permitted

2. Are Pre-Orders Allowed?

Default Rule

Pre-orders are NOT allowed by default.

All items listed on Resellers must be:

• In stock

• Ready to ship

• Available for immediate fulfillment

Exception (When Allowed)

Pre-orders may only be listed if:

• Explicitly approved by ResellersZA

• Clearly marked as “Pre-Order”

• A confirmed fulfillment timeline is provided

Unauthorized pre-orders may be removed without notice.

3. Auctions & Pre-Orders

• Auction listings may NOT be used for pre-orders

• All auction items must be physically available at the time of listing

• Auction outcomes are binding and must be fulfilled promptly

Any attempt to use auctions for future or unavailable items is prohibited.

4. Seller Responsibilities for Approved Pre-Orders

If a pre-order is approved, the seller must:

• Clearly disclose:

• Estimated availability date

• Expected shipping date

• Fulfill the order within the stated timeframe

• Communicate delays promptly to the buyer

• Honor refunds if timelines are not met

Failure to comply may result in:

• Refunds

• Wallet deductions

• Seller suspension or termination

5. Payments & Commission

• Buyer payments for pre-orders may be:

• Authorized

• Held

• Or processed depending on payment method

• Resellers commission is earned only after successful fulfillment

• If a pre-order is cancelled or refunded:

• No commission is earned

• Any credited commission will be reversed

Affiliate commissions (if applicable) are paid only from Resellers’ commission and do not affect seller earnings.

6. Digital COD & Bank Transfer (Pre-Orders)

For pre-orders:

• Digital Cash on Delivery (COD) and Direct Bank Transfer carry higher risk

• Funds are not considered final until confirmed

• Sellers accept the risk of delayed or failed confirmation

ResellersZA may restrict certain payment methods for pre-orders.

7. Delays, Cancellations & Refunds

Buyer Rights

Buyers may request a refund if:

• The seller fails to ship within the stated timeframe

• The seller cancels the pre-order

• The item becomes unavailable

Refund Handling

• Refunds are processed in line with the Buyer Protection Policy

• Refunds may be:

• Returned to original payment method

• Credited to buyer wallet (where applicable)

8. Chargebacks & Risk Management

If a pre-order results in:

• A chargeback

• A payment reversal

• A fraud investigation

Resellers may:

• Hold seller funds

• Deduct amounts from seller wallet

• Suspend pre-order privileges

9. Seller Violations & Enforcement

Sellers may not:

• List future stock without approval

• Misrepresent availability dates

• Use pre-orders to delay fulfillment

• Circumvent auction rules

Violations may lead to:

• Listing removal

• Refund enforcement

• Account suspension or termination

• Loss of pending earnings related to violations

10. Platform Discretion

ResellersZA reserves the right to:

• Approve or reject pre-orders

• Limit pre-order categories

• Restrict sellers from offering pre-orders

• Modify or disable pre-orders entirely

11. Relationship Disclaimer

ResellersZA acts as a facilitating platform only.

• Sellers are fully responsible for fulfillment

• Buyers contract directly with sellers

• ResellersZA intervenes only where required by policy or law

12. Policy Updates

This Pre-Order Policy may be updated at any time.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
